I want to be there for the entire human race
Poetecstasy John P. Matthew's poetry blog. Must warn you these are works in progress, which are in the process of mind-numbing cogitation and editorial angst!

I write as a habit, I must. I am most comfortable while I am tapping on a keyboard or making notes. I make a living out of writing corporate communication material. You can read about me, my short stories and poems (Now undergoing a thorough review and reworking. I am getting to know poetry.) on my main blog. Incidentally, some of my uncles have been great writers in Malayalam , real pioneers. If I don't write about them, who would? I have given up hope on my first novel. The second is about a brilliant Harvard graduate's journey through the unending corruption of Indian corporate life. Right now I am in talks with some publishers who seem to be interested. Some pictures of my life and times are here. My poems are here; my short stories are here; my book reviews and essays are here, do visit and leave your hand prints in the comments section.

hi John...read some of your poems. I like the content and structure of your writing. Especially in 'To The Loose Cannon' and 'Stilled Voices'. I keep a blog in which i write some poems as well. if you would like to read them, your feedback would be greatly appreciated :)
Myriad Utopia
A stirring piece that for most people echoes their own wishes too. Thank you.
Nice one,
Also freedom is always from what we have even if what we have has been acquired painstakingly over a period of time :)
Freedom is such a relative term and is solely dependent on what, where and who you are born as! Society puts limits on freedom and questions anyone who crosses lines.
One is truly free only in ones mind...to the outside diplomacy and norms are a smarter way to live among people.
One's freedom is defined by one's own perception of boundries and Values. If you do not get yours on request then demanding is the only way!! I have written a poem on human emotions like pain ..Do read and give you valuble comments :)
Antara, Simon, Vinod, Nalini, Manasa, thanks a lot for your comments. Really appreciate and encourages me to write more songs :)
John
